I knew that I wanted to remodel my kitchen and also knew what “must haves” were important to me. Your expertise and attention to detail were tremendously valuable on the project and I feel that you treated the project as if it were your own house which is rare to find these days. Your company, the quality of products you used in the house and you personally far exceeded all expectations I had going into the project. It was especially challenging with Mrs. M not being down at the house and you made it such a smooth process for her and I, and at no time during the job were we concerned that things were not moving along. You and Albert continually communicated with us both and were always available when we had a question or concern. I have a rental home in Huntington Beach that suffered water damage due to a leaky bathroom sink. My insurance company recommended Cal-Best Construction Company to do the repairs. When the remediation company had completed their remediation work it turned out that there were extensive repairs to the kitchen and the upstairs bedroom and bathroom that were required. I was very glad to have Justin in control of the job. He is so easy to work with and very responsible about getting the job done within a reasonable time and to a very high standard. He was in constant contact with me by email and phone as I live out of the area. We successfully used email photos to make many selections and to keep updated on the work progress. The project went very smoothly. When I was finally able to travel to see the work I was delighted with the results. Justin also did some additional remodel work for me at the same time that he was repairing the water damage. The whole house looked fabulous when he had completed the work.
Justin (Cal Best) did work on our rental condo in December 2015. We had a leak in our bathroom and kitchen, so they did plumbing work, replacing our floors and drywall and painting. Can’t say enough of how happy I am with their workmanship. Despite the holiday season and rains, Justin and his crew did their best to accommodate our tenants’ schedules. They would show up promptly every morning and clean up before they left and finished everything in as little time as possible. Would highly recommend them.
I have had my condo in Indian Wells, CA flood two times in two years due to faulty toilets. Both times the contents had to be completely evacuated and everything from cabinetry, flooring and drywall had to be redone. This was after a recent remodel! Both times our insurance company recommended Cal-Best Construction Company. We were very anxious about who would do the job as we had such an unpleasant experience with the original remodel contractor and it was traumatizing to even think of going through another similar ordeal. The first meeting with Justin put my fears at rest. The entire process was painless and professional from start to finish. There was never a time I could not get an immediate response to a question and his work was always completed on schedule. The work was of high quality. I was especially impressed with his cabinetry. My original cabinets were prefabricated but Justin’s cabinets were done by his company and custom made to match what I had. They were such an improvement in quality it was almost worth the bad experience of a flooding disaster. I had nothing but good to say about this company. Justin is polite and professional in every way. He also has experienced workers and craftsmen. I think he must have gotten his work ethic from his father who I believe was the original owner. I really can’t think of a negative comment to balance this testimonial!
We were so pleased by the beautiful work and gorgeous cabinets that were put into the kitchen in our home. Everyone who has seen our kitchen is amazed at the difference of the new cabinets and design. They also put all new flooring throughout our house. We are so happy and pleased. They did a fantastic job, to say the least, during the entire process, which ended with a beautiful final result. They were very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient in helping us make our final decisions.
